Butch, Thanks for your follow up and sharing the history of the Peele family. According to my family’s oral history, the father of my great-great-great grandmother Sarah Biggs was a Mr. Peele, cousin and or neighbor to Kader Biggs. William H. Peele who lived near Biggs according to the 1860 slave schedules for Bertie County, is a candidate. I need to do more research to try and validate.
